re:Play returns to the Festival Grounds, bridging tech with unforgettable experiences, creating a cinematic night. Two giant music stages featured amazing artists like Major Lazer, A-Trak, King Youngblood, and Portugal. The Man. For a more relaxing experience, we thoughtfully crafted an oasis with an ambient lounge and silent disco among all the excitement. Not to mention all the activities and games to let your inner child run rampant.
The vibrant, high energy charged activities were the livelihood of re:Play. From classic mainstays like Dodgeball, Button Mash, Table Tennis & Pickleball, to new arenas like RC Racers, inflatable obstacle courses, and House of Mirror style mazes, there’s an opportunity for everyone to compete, shine and form lasting core memories.
Sustainability was a driving force behind this year’s design and art direction. Thinking more about our waste and how to consume less, we switched to digital signage and IMAGs in lieu of traditional print on our structure endcaps. This saved 12,000+ sq ft of heavy vinyl material from going to waste!
By projection mapping our traditionally static endcaps we created larger “screens” that allowed for more immersive experiences and full art takeovers across the festival grounds. We think they might have been some of the largest IMAGs ever.
We created a reinterpretation of this year’s re:Invent design, Horizons, where we deconstructed and reassembled gradient elements using distortions and reflective symmetry, composing a fresh new look for re:Play 2023This year, we bumped the frequencies all the way up! Taking key gradients from re:Invent art to crush into new shapes and compositions, we’re welcoming a frenzy of elements filled with excitement and edge.
