In [year] Notch bought the most expensive house in LA.
The style and functionality wasn’t exactly his taste, so we used our expertise and taste to start making it more his authentic to who he is. The first big construction project was to convert the gym into Notch’s personal soundcave with state of the art speakers, vintage synths, a vocal/drum room and a grossly packed eurorack. Since the house is mostly white and rectangular, the spatial design for the studio was to create a more inviting and homelike environment—somewhere you could stay for hours on end.
The result is a very warm, yet contemporary space with custom shaped wood paneling for the best acoustics possible. Other custom elements include recessed lighting, embedded furniture, an additional restroom and just for fun there’s a fully functional CO2 jet over the main desk. Because why not…
