Factory 93: ‘Secret Project Festival’ 2019

For Secret Project 2019 we collaborated with our friends at Factory 93 and Insomniac again to design two stages for this unique 2-day festival. Our stage and lighting design was inspired by an early-90’s warehouse aesthetic to compliment Insomniac’s line-up of legends and bangers. The main stage was constructed with nine old shipping containers, stacked in different angles. Some we left closed to utilize them as walls, and others we opened up, facing the crowd to create amore depth and a unique view from any position in the crowd. We loaded lighting gear and video panels into the containers which were controlled live by our team. The second stage was directly next to a busy train track and a bridge, right by the LA river. For this unique setting we decided to set up truss structures and drape fabric from the bridge over the dance floor. The disco ball in the center of the structure rounded up the experience and turned the second stage into an absolute VIBE. It’s always a huge pleasure to be part of this immersive experience that happens right in front of our studio in LA.
